I cannot say enough about Tammy! Last January I bought a 5,000 square foot home in the D.C. area and didn’t know where to begin. Being a business owner myself, I did not have the time to dedicate to such a huge project. I had heard about Novel Interiors through a friend and reached out to Tammy. She immediately reached out to me and we started to the process. She was in Wisconsin and hadn’t seen the house in person, but I was able to provide her with the photos of each of the rooms and that was enough! We worked together and started on the paint color for each of the rooms. I loved her choices! From there she provided me with “design boards” for each room that included the furniture, paint color, carpets, light fixtures and design items. The boards gave me a good idea of what the room would look like at the end. Using this method she was able to design and furnish over 12 rooms! I approved each and every item and when I wasn’t convinced she immediately sent me options. She was very responsive to my “style” and I felt that she listened to my concerns. Then came the second part. She ordered all the furniture, carpets and light fixtures and then came to my home with an assistant to receive the packages and place everything in the various rooms. With her rental car she and her assistant would go out to various stores to complete the picture with all the bedding, matching towels, curtains, blinds, bathroom cabinets, plants and smaller items to complete the picture. She even knew how to use a drill and mounted the blinds and curtains! If something didn’t work out, she took care of all the returns. I just watched her work and get the job done. I cannot say enough about Tammy and Novel Interiors. I highly recommend her and her company. Thank you, Tammy!!!
